oh ... me? well, i'm retardedly shy sometimes.
Oregon has been lovely.
I only wish I didn’t have to go back to Utah tomorrow.
Florida has been amazing. It was everything that I needed without realizing it.
School was getting hectic. People were getting to the point of overbearing and unmanageable. I was over being in Provo. I NEEDED OUT.
So, I escaped. Sunshine. Beaches. Hot springs. SUNSHINE. Originally with a plan to run off with LP, but alas, that didn’t work out. :(
Tomorrow, I leave. But I refuse to return to Provo so soon. Tomorrow, I’m off to San Antonio. Then Denver. Then Portland. (Talk about a long day.)
Off to see my sister + my sister from another mister.
Here’s to hoping that by the time I actually return home, I’ll be recharged and ready to tackle another semester before my internship/slavery.
A couple of weeks ago I sent LP’s sister a picture and asked her to paint it.
So today, while she was “babysitting” LP, she whipped this up. And it’s lovelier than I could have imagined.
Of course if you would like to contact her for a painting of your own, that can be arranged.
It’s been so long since I posted that I don’t even know where to begin.
So, we’ll start with LP getting locked out of the car and his retaliation.
He makes me smile. And definitely keeps things interesting.
because we are spending christmas in salt lake with LP’s sisters and their husbands, we had our own little early christmas eve celebration. [honestly, we just didn’t want to have to haul all those presents up to salt lake to have to bring them home. call us lazy.]
we lit a fire. turned on “a christmas story”. and opened presents. [not all of them though. some were reserved for tomorrow because of course we need something to open tree side.]
i was ecstatic about my 18 pk of scotch brite sponges — heaven knows i can’t stand dirty, stink sponges — and my darling little camera trinket.
and LP was more than crazy about his kindle. and that shirt i may or may not have gotten him from wendy’s.
